Putting a Word On It!!! Weekly Motivation

Hebrews 10: 25 CEV

“Some people have given up the habit of meeting for worship, but we must not do that. We should encourage each other, especially since you know that the day of the Lord’s coming is getting closer.”

Blessings my dear friends! This week I want you to reflect on the scripture above. In times past going to church was a norm, it was an expected act for believers to go to church on Sunday morning. When the pandemic hit our World, going to church was no longer an option for the people of God. We had to separate ourselves from other believer’s and worship at home, online, or for some not at all. That was a challenging time for many of us. Some people lost the faith while other’s grew in their faith. Now that some time has past, and we are able to gather again for worship, some people have adapted to the convenience on online ministries, yes, they do have their place and are beneficial, but some people have intentionally neglected gathering together with other believers for worship.

The scripture encourages us to not give up the habit of meeting, but instead we MUST gather together for worship. I believe there are many reasons this should happen. For one, you gain strength when you are around other believers,. Two it encourages you to keep fighting the good faith, and three, it allows God to dwell amongst his people. When we are gather together in the name of the Lord he is also there with us. Now this is not to say that God can’t or wont meet you at home, because I have had many encounters with the Lord in my living room, but there is something about when the saints join together in worship and begin to praise and lift up the name of the Lord. Miracles begin to happen, souls are saved, bodies are healed and the Word of God brings forth deliverance.

I encourage you on today, to go back to church! Gather amongst the saint’s and other believers and watch God begin to work and move in you life. See you Sunday!!
